Summary of Maintenance and Upgrades

SAFE HARBOR MARINA IUKA MS - NOVEMBER 2020

 

Maintenance: Replaced fuel pump on Generator. Replaced all head hoses forward and aft. Replaced battery connections. Checked and replaced as needed all hoses and clamps on both engines & bilge pump. Painted trim on both salon doors & fiberglass bottom of starboard door. Installed keepers on both side steps to doors. Waxed and buffed the entire boat. Grind, fiberglass, and paint both stabilizer fin blisters. Change and sample all fluids engines, transmissions, generator. Change impellers engines and generator (all samples normal except port transmission showed high copper. checked high - no copper internal transmission - fluid had not been changed for at least 1000 hrs. - determined to check next fluid change in 250 hours). replace all fuel filters. Clean all screens. Check all GFIs.

 

Improvements: Installed fire port in engine room door. Replaced cushions in Salon and Bridge deck. Added ROCNA 40 anchor, 250 ft chain & 100 ft rope. Purchase and Fit new 20 HP outboard on dinghy. Purchase and Install pedestal Helm seat in dinghy & attach outboard cables. Install TV. Install EPIRB on Bring deck.

 

TWIN DOLPHINS MARINA BRADENTON FL - JAN 2021

 

Maintenance: Change and sample all fluids in engines, transmissions, generator (all results nominals including port transmission). Change impellers engines and generator. replace all fuel filters. Clean all screens. Install new raw water pumps on both engines Clean and waterproof Bimini. Rework-clean Windlass motor.

 

Improvements:  Install new bridge deck full enclosure. Install AIS send/receiver. Install cell booster. Install Garmin Weather Connection. Install new digital TV antenna. Replace faucets in forward & aft heads & aft deck sink.

 

EMBREE MARINE ST PETERSBURG FL - FEB 2021

 

Maintenance: Reworked starboard prop, polished port prop. Bottom paint. Replace both starboard shifter cables & port upper shifter cables.

Improvements: Installed bow thruster and battery supply (Florida Bow Thruster).

 

BLUE WATER YACHT CENTER HAMPTON VA - SUMMER 2021

 

Maintenance: Free up and lubricate all through hulls. rebuild aft head flushing mech. & duck bills. Replace generator freshwater pump. Change fluids and filters in both engines, transmissions, generator, ran oil analysis (all results nominal). Clean screens. Clean & Paint engine mounts. Clean and maintain all bonding cable connections in engine room. Service and cleaning all three air conditioners. Replace Port engine room blower. Clean & wax hull and topsides. Sand and two coats of varnish on all remaining teak.

 

Improvements: Remove aft head system, install new vac tank & macerator & hoses as well as pump out hose. Install check valve in engine room bilge pump system. Add a small bilge pump aft of main pump. Install new (larger) freshwater pressure pump (retain old one for spare). Installed new Dinghy cover. Install (4) 12-volt fans in cabins and salon. Remove one Galley refrigerator, add upright galley refrigerator & custom cabinetry. Remove aft deck ice maker, add freezer & custom cabinetry. Replace Batteries with AGMs. Add stern anchor mount on transom. Add 12v charging port to bride deck port pod. Add iPad mount to port bridge deck pod. Strip and sand teak rails & aft ladder, apply 5 coats Triton sealer. No-see-um screen in v berth hatch, and aft galley window.

 

BRUNSWICK LANDING MARINA BRUNSWICK GA - August 2022

 

Maintenance: Clean and apply 4 coats Trident sealer to rails & aft ladder. (2) coats varnish to bright work. remove stainless from rub rails & recondition & paint rails, reinstall stainless. Repair cracked paint on transom and paint entire transom, replace boat name & port. Change Fluids in engines, transmission, & generator, change filters. Repair blisters in stabilizer fins. Sand bottom to gelcoat, repair blisters (few), re-apply full bottom paint. Polish shafts & props and apply coating. Repack shaft seals. Sand bridge deck hatch slide rails. Remove, clean, replace bridge deck enclosure. Clean and waterproof Bimini. Wash & wax hull and topsides

 

Improvements: Add a new spotlight. Re-cover bridge deck helm seat. Add covers for bridge deck pods and instrument deck. Add custom v berth mattresses, pads & covers. Removed curtains in whole boat (dark and mould magnet ). installed Levolor light-block window coverings in Salon, and custom cut covers for v Berth, heads, and master cabin. Replaced all DC lights with LEDs. Replaced sound system (non-functioning) with Bose Bluetooth speaker.
