Entering from the cockpit you find yourself in a spacious saloon with a large "L" shaped sofa on the port and aft bulkhead sides. Across are two Sailfish styled occasional chairs that have been completely restored and are very attractive. The sofa has also been re-upholstered in a Gray/White fabric with a touch of black. This same fabric is on the two chairs as well as the valances in the Main Saloon in addition all of the Drapery has been upgraded and replaced. Moving forward on the Port side is a large 50" flat screen TV and on the Starboard side is the "C" shaped dinette with light greenish gray leather upholstery.


On the Port side across from the dinette is the Galley. Moving forward 5 steps down places you in the hallway to the staterooms on the Starboard is the guest stateroom with en-suite head and twin berths one parallel and the other awthortship with cabinets and drawers. The pump / utility room access is in the guest stateroom via a full size door way.

Across the Hall way you'll find the VIP stateroom featuring en-suite private head with shower and two twin berths with hanging closet and drawers.

Forward in the bow is the Master Stateroom with a full queen size centerline berth. (please note the current owners have enlarged the berth for their needs but have not changed the original pedestal) The Master features an en-suite head with tub/shower combo. Hanging locker, Closet, drawers and TV.   

Upgrades include new flooring custom cut and installed throughout the yacht.

Electronics and Bridge

The enclosed flybridge is fantastic on the 65 Hatteras the view and ability to see everything is wonderful! The bridge features comfortable Captain & Mate Chairs with guest seating behind and a sleepable settee to the Port side.  Heat & Air Condition makes it extra comfortable but for those pretty days the side windows slide open for fresh air. The aft Bridge Deck on the Port side features steering wheel with full controls for docking or fishing (note Bow & Stern Thruster controls are at this helm station) Across on the Starboard side is a comfortable large built in settee facing aft to enjoy the view or action in the cockpit.

Recent upgrades and Maintenance

  • Restore and repair Bait Well, fixed numerous screw holes from piano hinge and repaint.

  • Replace Bait Well drain and add second slosh drain.

  • Restore and repair Bait Well cover and paint, new latch hardware.

  • Installed new Bait Well Pump, add switch and signage, run wiring.

  • Add blue LED lights inside Bait Well tank.

  • Lazarette area, remove numerous old screws, and defunct hardware, fill holes, seal and paint.

  • Build and glass new shelf for Stern Thruster batteries that does not block Port Stuffing Box

  • Replaced Stern Truster battery wiring and installed new Disconnect Solenoid

  • Replaced Stern Truster motor brushes, polish commutator, strip and refinish cover.

  • Replaced Stern Thruster battery charger.

  • Installed Ice Chest drain to the aft overboard drain system.

  • Installed Blue Water Chairs Battle Station with accessories (fighting chair)

  • Completely replace Dockside Water in, and Freshwater Washdown system.

  • Replaced Stern Bilge Pump in the Lazarette

  • Both lazarette covers had been cut in half with hinges – restore to one piece to stop leaks.

  • Service and repair Hydraulic Winch on the bow, correct substandard wiring.

  • Restore Salt Water Washdown system; New spigot, wiring and pump.

  • Replaced Cockpit Sink hardware; Spigot, Sprayer and drain piping.

  • Install and glass new Storage Shelf under the sink in Cockpit.

  • Replace six missing hatch covers in the Engine Room to seal the environment.

  • Cockpit stairs to Salon, stripped, glassed, sealed, painted and new non-slip installed.

  • Install and correctly wire Kenyon electric grill to dedicated circuit, installed overboard weather drain.

  • Repair several soft areas of Cockpit, glass and repair loam damage, repaint.

  • Thorough restoration and sealing of Lazarette hatches which had been cut in half.

  • Remove, clean, seal, and reset all Cockpit deck and gunnel hardware, rod holders.

  • Cockpit stairs repaired and restored to factory locations on both sides.

  • Numerous missing labels and signage ordered to match the original and installed.

  • Installed Blue LED lighting on both sides of Cockpit.

  • Fixed soft spots on flybridge deck, repaint.

  • Installed four Burnewiin system mounts with drains, including BBQ stowage in Engine Room

  • Replace missing or worn bumpers for all hatches, doors or cabinets throughout yacht.

  • Add 4 new Rod holders: two on the Bow and two on flybridge.

  • Installed 2 new Grab handles in Salon and inside Flybridge

  • Reseat, reset numerous deck fittings where exposed to water to re-seal.

  • Replaced Pilot House upholstery inside and outside.

  • Fixed and filled old screw holes everywhere.

  • Replaced all Pilothouse instruments and control panels.

  • Moved Autopilot control to center of helm for Captain reach.

  • Moved thruster controls next for reach by Captain.

  • Installed Loud hailer system with forward, aft, and engine room and salon speakers.

  • Install backup in-hull depth sounder.

  • Install two new VHF radios and a third antenna for AIS system.

  • All new 4-speaker Pilot House CD, MP3, or Satellite stereo system in Pilot House.

  • Install pair of LED Chart Lights on either side of control board with red/white modes

  • Add new 12” MFD with HDMI input for CCTV feeds and new camera in Pilot House

  • Removed all defunct wiring and controls, installed new controls and wiring as required.

  • Replaced several analog dash gauges and corrected several wiring deficiencies.

  • Install and calibrate new tachometers in Pilot House

  • Clean up and rewire all Instrument wiring throughout the control board.

  • Install new fuse block and fuse loads which were not protected.

  • Installed new Blue LED light in Pilot house overhead.

  • Installed Pilot house De-humidifier and connect the water drain.

  • Removed Camera wiring run on top of roof and pull in new wiring correctly.

  • Fix Windshield wiper motors and controls

  • Removed old crack sealant from windows, outside pilot house, deck, around the boat and resealed.

  • Installed two New Docking Spreader lights - Individually controlled LED Docking lights.

  • Installed two Pilot House mounted LED Side Spreader light.

  • Installed two new Cockpit mounted LED AFT Spreader lights.

  • Replaced all NAV Lights and reinstalled missing All-Around light (LED)

  • Repair and restore Mast wiring, fabricate, and install new tophat for FLIR and All-around light.

  • Replace and install new Life Raft (6 person)

  • Repair all three Emergency Window Hatches

  • Fixed Marquip davit and replaced hardware to restore reliability.

  • Replaced water line and plumbing throughout for fresh water and washdown.

  • Installed new stainless-steel cover for Chain to avoid water going inside Bow bilge.

  • Replaced rubber switch covers control for Chains and Winch

  • Rebuild Salon storage closet; build substructure, support, and fill in missing panels.

  • Removed broken mirror in the Salon; strip and cover wall, properly mount new 60” TV.

  • Replaced faulty analog meters in power distribution center.

  • Replaced all the light bulbs with LED.

  • The guest head and Crew head replaced fixtures and connectors.

  • The guest head was leaking, repair put new rubber seal, replaced the Hose and Vacuum breaker.

  • Owner head installed Modern quiet pump motor and diaphragm .

  • Installed new exhaust blower vent in crew Cabin head.

  • Fixed and filled old screw holes in Equipment room and repaint.

  • Repair and charge Crew Cabin air conditioning system, repair equip. room fan

  • Replaced Crew Cabin SMX AC control with all new SMX II controls.

  • Replaced several GFI outlets and corrected wiring issues.

  • Installed new Storage Shelf in Equipment room.

  • Clean and repaint throughout the Engine room.

  • Repair both Engine Blowers and replace belts.

  • Repair starboard DC Engine Blower

  • Service, inspect and recertify fire system and controls.

  • Restore numerous missing Ground Bonding jumpers.

  • Replaced both Battery Banks in the Engine Room

  • Service and replace all battery bank wiring as needed.

  • Installed fast recovery Water Heater, installed plumbing and wiring.

  • Restore Macerator system, replaced pump and installed selector valve.

  • Rebuild and installed Emergency Crash pump as designed.

  • Installed Air bleeder to Air Conditioning raw water pumps.

  • Rebuild Generator 2 (Port) Raw Water Pump

  • Replaced Generator 1 (starboard) Electric Fuel Pump

  • Service Both Alternators on mains

  • Secure all the Wiring, Plumbing, Hose as needed with replacement hardware.

  • Perform complete valve and injector tune-up and replacement as needed.

  • Repair Windlass and Chain striper (oil change, clutch, and hardware)

  • Build and install Fortress backup anchor holder.

  • Replaced both Starboard and Port Engine Belts

  • Add new plumbing for Hydraulic Steering cooler.

  • Installed BBQ Holder In Engine Room

  • Replaced numerous hoses and corrected plumbing issues in black water system
